ESRC Seminar Series 2008-09
This seminar series explores methodological issues relating to the visual dimensions of business, management and organizational life. Visual Methods explicitly use images in various ways including drawing, photography, published organizational literature, advertisements, video/film and Internet pages. The images are either regarded as a source of data in themselves, as a way of producing data through their use, or a combination of the two. Visual studies of organization and the use of visual methods inorganizations are both under explored areas of business and management studies.
This seminar series has been designed with five aims in mind:
