		<description>I argue that the lack of visually-oriented management research points to how we view and understand the two subjects, i.e. management and visualisation. Management functioning involves at least four distinct aspects (formative, economic, social, symbolic); this makes the field rich and some may say complex. On the other hand visualisation are traditionally viewed in single aspect terms (spatial i.e. graphical). There is a stark imbalance between the richness of the two issues which could only be bridged through forming closer research agendas between the two.</description>
